Roger was born in Lincoln, IL. He graduated from Lincoln Community High School and is a member of First Christian Church.

Memberships include Fraternal Order of Police and Ducks Unlimited. Roger is a U.S. Army veteran and a retired Sangamon County Deputy.

Roger joined the Staab Family team in 1994.
